Retro-Futurism at the Holter

Dress on theme or as you feel and join the After-school Teen Art Council for a party to celebrate being Queer and being a Teen, a.k.a. Queer Teen Prom! You will need to register for this in advance, so please do so here.

This year’s theme: Retro-futurism

which is: a future imaged through the “lens of the past”. Can include but is not limited to styles like cyberpunk, steampunk, dieselpunk, atompunk, and Raygun gothic. At its core, its a mix of new and old technologies and what we imagine our futures could be like.

Pop culture examples: the Jetsons, Back to the Future, Star Trek, The Incredibles.
